Tottenham Hotspur’s PL rivals have already started to strengthen their teams by signing top players and the north Londoners must also splash the cash to reinforce their squad.
As per reports, Spurs are looking to improve the back line and a certain Spanish left back in the form of Benfica’s Alejandro Grimaldo is linked.
According to Notícias ao Minuto, Mauricio Pochettino is an avid fan of the Spaniard and has requested the London based club to lure him.

In such a scenario, the Portuguese source have stated that Spurs are ready to make a bid of €30million to sign the 22-year-old defender as present for their Argentine boss.
In the last campaign, Grimaldo featured in 28 league games for the Primeira Liga club and directly contributed in 5 goals (1 goal and 4 assists).
As far as his national career is concerned, the Spaniard has so far made two appearances for the U-21 side.
As per Notícias ao Minuto, the defender’s current deal with the Portuguese club will expire in 2021 and it is armored with a release clause of €60million.
