Chelsea won the Premier League title two years ago but last season they were average and finished fifth, which means that they will not be taking part in the Champions League next season.
The Stamford Bridge club surely need to strengthen their squad for the next campaign and reports suggest that they are close to securing a new manager and a new striker.
According to Sport Mediaset, Chelsea have agreed on a fee worth €60million to secure the signing of Argentine international and Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The Italian outlet have stated that Chelsea owner Abramovich is focused on replacing Antonio Conte with Sarri and a few details need to be settled with Aurelio De Laurentiis to make the deal official.
It is further mentioned that once the managerial situation has been resolved, the Blues will be able to close the deal to seal the signing of Higuain.
Chelsea signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid last year but the Spanish striker failed to shine at the Bridge under the management of Conte. Will Higuain be a hit in the Premier League? Only time will tell.
The former Los Blancos center forward is one of the best finishers in the world and last season, he scored 23 goals in all competitions for the Italian champions.
