Tottenham are in search of a new defender with reports suggesting that star center half Toby Alderweireld could be leaving the club this summer.
Few days back, Mirror Sport reported that the north Londoners are looking to sign French international Pavard to replace the Belgian international at White Hart Lane.
Now, as per an exclusive report covered by Team Talk, Spurs have made a teasing move for the €50million defender (L’Equipe) by confirming their interest to Stuttgart.

Where does Pavard play?
The 22-year-old World Cup winning player can be deployed in any position in the back line. He can even play as a defensive midfielder.
For the Bundesliga side, Pavard mainly started in the central defense last season, however, for France, he has only played in the right back position.
Current scenario at Tottenham:
Pochettino deployed a three at the back formation in the last campaign. In that system, the likes of Alderweireld (when fit), Vertonghen and Sanchez played in the defense. The 29-year-old Belgian missed a lot of games due to injury and in his absence, Dier used to play in the back line.
The likes of Trippier and Aurier are already there for the right wing-back position. So, if Pavard does end up replacing the former Atletico Madrid star this summer then we can expect him to partner Sanchez and Vertonghen in the three man defense next season.
