Liverpool fans will be going crazy looking at so many rumors going on in the media linking the club with Roma star Alisson.

If a report covered by a renowned Sky Italia source is to be believed then an agreement is close between the Giallorossi and the Reds.

As per Gianluca Di Marzio, Liverpool have reached close to an agreement with Roma for the Brazilian international, there is ‘minimum distance’ between the two clubs (Liverpool have offered €70m+bonus, Roma have asked for €75m+bonus) and they are working to find a definitive agreement.

Liverpool’s summer so far:

The Reds have strengthened their midfield department by signing two top quality players in the form of Naby Keita and Fabinho.

On the other hand, the Merseysiders have improved the quality of their attacking department by signing Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri from relegated Stoke City.

What to they need now?

Compared to the title rivals, Liverpool have arguably got the weakest goalies in their team. Therefore, Klopp needs a consistent goal keeper to tighten things up at the back and Alisson is one of the most wanted shot stoppers in this summer’s transfer window.

Liverpool did score 5 goals past him at Anfield but the South American star was overall impressive for the Italian club in the last campaign and he also performed well at the World Cup.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss also needs to sign a proven quality center forward, who could cover for Roberto Firmino. The current strike-force seriously lacks quality depth.
