Spurs keen on signing star, who wants €600,000-a-month deal

Tottenham need to reinforce their squad in the summer transfer window and they are linked with French international and PSG star Adrien Rabiot.

According to France Football, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen on signing Rabiot and the Argentine wants the 23-year-old midfielder to replace Mousa Dembele, whose contract with the north London club will expire next year.

The Belgian international featured in 39 games in all competitions for the PL side last season but he failed to score any goal or provide any assist.

On the other hand, the Les Bleus midfielder made 50 appearances in all competitions for the French giants in the last campaign and directly contributed in 12 goals (5 goals and 7 assists).

Rabiot regularly starts for the Ligue 1 club and he can effectively play in multiple midfield positions. Last season, he mainly started with Draxler and Verratti in the center of the park under current Arsenal boss Unai Emery.

So far, he has played 6 games for the senior national side but he could not make it into Deschamps’ World Cup squad. France defeated Argentina in the round of 16 and will collide against Uruguay in the quarter finals.

Rabiot’s mom, who also acts as his agent, is said to be looking for a move away from PSG for his son and as per France Football, the player wants a deal that will make him earn as much as Italian international Verratti i.e. worth €600,000-a-month.
