Last Tuesday, Manchester United officially announced that they have reached an agreement (fee) with Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk to sign Brazilian midfielder Fred.
As per The Guardian, the South American star is expected to cost around 52 million pounds (€58.9m).
The Red Devils also confirmed that a further announcement will be made when the transfer has been sealed. As far as that announcement is concerned, according to Sky Sports News, the Old Trafford club are going to get the signing of Fred done and confirm the same in the next seven days.

He is likely going to replace retired Michael Carrick in the center of the park at Old Trafford.
We can expect the Brazilian to start with the likes of Matic and Pogba in the midfield under Jose Mourinho.
Recently, he suffered an ankle injury during a training session with the national side. However, manager Tite has provided positive news and claimed (MEN):
“The doctor will bring us information about Fred. The forecast is that he is fit and ready to train with us,”
