Liverpool have been linked with Brazilian international and Roma goalie Alisson Becker for some time and if the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then the Reds are leading the race to sign him.

According to renowned Italian source Il Tempo (press image at the end of the post), the Samba star wants his future to be resolved before Brazil kick start their World Cup campaign on June 17 and Liverpool are in pole position to secure his signing.

The Italian outlet have further mentioned that likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid are interested in hiring the services of the 25-year-old shot stopper as well.

The Merseysiders were keen on signing French playmaker Nabil Fekir from Lyon but the Ligue 1 club confirmed that their captain is not going anywhere. Klopp will now have to act fast and sign a top quality alternative who could finally replace Coutinho.

As far as the goalkeeping situation at Anfield is concerned, the likes of Karius and Mignolet are not good enough and the Reds need to sign a consistent No.1 to guard the goal.

Roma will surely not let Alisson leave for cheap and as per a recent report covered by UOL Esporte, the Serie A side want 70 million euros (£61.6million) from his sale. In your opinion, should Liverpool meet the asking price to set his signing done?
