Manchester United have to improve their attacking department this summer and more than a few quality playmakers are linked with the Old Trafford club.
The latest name in the focus is that of French international and Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele. The Catalan giants paid Borrusia Dortmund a huge fee to sign the player last year but he was mostly on the treatment table in the last campaign.
Now, according to a report covered by Don Balon, Man United have made a huge offer to sign the Les Bleus star. It is stated that manager Jose Mourinho has offered Anthony Martial to the La Liga champions in order to capture Dembele. The Spanish source have further mentioned that Barca would accept an exchange offer if United also pay €25million or include midfielder Ander Herrera in the operation.
Last season, the 21-year-old star made 24 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona, scored 4 goals and provided 9 assists.
As far as his national career is concerned, he has so far played 16 times and scored 2 goals. At the 2018 World Cup, Dembele started against Australia and Denmark, however, he was an unused sub vs Argentina and played for just 2 minutes against Uruguay.
Back in May, Don Balon reported that Barca are demanding a fee worth €100million to get rid of the former Bundesliga player.
