How Spain should line up against Morocco

After earning just one point against Portugal in their opening World Cup game, Spain defeated Iran to earn all three points in their second contest.

Tonight, in their final group game, the 2010 World Cup winners will collide against Morocco, who have already been eliminated from the tournament.

Spain only need a point against the African side to book their place in the last 16. Moreover, they need to better Portugal’s result against Iran in order to top the group.

As far as Hierro’s team news is concerned, we can expect only one change in the starting XI that featured vs Iran. Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara should replace Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez.

Diego Costa is Spain’s top scorer in the competition and he should start as the lone center forward up front. Behind the former Chelsea man, the likes of Silva and Isco should start in the attack in the wide positions.

Prediction: Spain 2-0 Morocco
