Star could earn £31million-a-year by accepting Man Utd’s offer

Manchester United have been linked with Real Madrid star Gareth Bale for a long time and it seems that the Welsh international is going to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

According to El Confidencial, two top European club have put juicy offers on the table for the Los Blancos attacker and one of them is from the Red Devils.

The renowned Spanish source have mentioned that Jose Mourinho’s interest in signing the 28-year-old attacker is real and United want to make him the highest earning player in the Premier League.

It is further stated that Bale could earn a huge some worth £31million-a-year (£590,000-a-week) if he opts to move to Old Trafford.

In the past two years, Bale has missed a lot of games due to injury and that is one of the main reasons why he is not treated as a superstar at Real Madrid. In the recently concluded campaign, he could only start 20 times in the La Liga, scored 16 goals and provided 4 assists.

When fit, he is arguably one of the best playmakers in the world, capable of making the difference as he did in the Champions League final against Liverpool.

As per the provided El Confidencial link, at first, Real Madrid were demanding a fee worth 120 million euros for their prized asset, however, after scoring two goals in the CL final vs the Reds, the European champions now want at least 150 million euros.
