The Welsh international has been injured and missed a lot of matches in the last two campaigns. However, when fit, he has always proved to be a world class attacker.
Last season, he featured in 39 games in all competitions for the Los Blancos, scored 21 goals and also provided 7 assists. Not to forget, he was awarded the MOTM prize after scoring a brace in the Champions League final against Liverpool.
His current contract with the reigning European Champions will expire in 2022 and last month, renowned Spanish source El Confidencial reported that Real Madrid want at least 150 million euros (£131m) from the sale of their prized asset.
Tottenham have recently agreed a club record deal with Harry Kane but they might have to pay Bale even more than their star striker to bring him back from the Bernabeu. The playmaker currently earns (The Guardian) £350,000-a-week.
