Manchester United are constantly linked with Belgian international and Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld and the latest reports do not seem positive for the Red Devils.
The former Atletico Madrid center half is one of the best defenders in the Premier League and Spurs will surely strengthen United if they let him move to Old Trafford.
In such a scenario, the north Londoners are playing hard ball and are demanding a huge fee from Jose Mourinho’s team.

According to ESPN, United could agree a deal to sign the 29-year-old center back but for that they would have to match Spurs’ valuation of 70 million pounds (€79.7million).
The report states that United were willing to pay 50 million pounds and are still hoping to reach a compromise with Spurs for the transfer of Alderweireld, who is available for just 25 million pounds next summer.
The ex Ajax defender had a major hamstring problem in the last campaign and because of that, he only managed to start 20 times in all competitions.

Why waste words when NO will do. Alderweireld is not worth any money not worth even a free. United should be looking to the future with younger alternatives.
Bailey should be a better partner but man utd should not spend much on Alderweireld because of age factor. But I certainly see him as a good option for man utd.

Spending such as exorbitant fee on a veteran is a clear waste of resources, better get Langlet and Philip Max for the future .
