According to ESPN, United could agree a deal to sign the 29-year-old center back but for that they would have to match Spurs’ valuation of 70 million pounds (€79.7million).
The report states that United were willing to pay 50 million pounds and are still hoping to reach a compromise with Spurs for the transfer of Alderweireld, who is available for just 25 million pounds next summer.
