Liverpool have been chasing Nabil Fekir for quite some time but recently, Lyon reported that their captain will be staying with the club this summer.
However, even after Lyon’s official statement, reports in the media suggest that the French international could still move to Anfield.
According to Mirror Sport, the 24-year-old playmaker is desperate to sign for Liverpool and Klopp is eager to secure his signature and therefore, Jean-Michel Aulas could re-negotiate the terms of the £53million deal with the Reds.

Fekir featured in 30 league games for the Ligue 1 club last season, scored 18 goals and provided 7 assists as well.
The Les Bleus playmaker is definitely needed to replace Philippe Coutinho at Anfield. If Klopp fails to lure him then he must look for a top quality alternative.
The British source have also mentioned that Liverpool are ready to move for Swiss international and Stoke City playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri. It is stated that the 26-year-old attacker is keen on moving to Liverpool.
The former Bayern Munich star scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists in 36 appearances in the last Premier League campaign. However, he could not help the Potters survive relegation.
