Tottenham need to strengthen their midfield department in the summer transfer window and they have been linked with numerous quality players.
Last month, renowned Spanish source Sport reported that Mauricio Pochettino wants to hire the services of Brazilian international and Barcelona midfielder Rafinha.
The 25-year-old star missed the first half of the last campaign due to injury and he played the second half of the season on loan for Italian side Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri have not acted to make the loan move permanent and now, as per the latest update provided by Sport, Rafinha could end up signing for Spurs.
The Sao Paolo born player featured in 17 league games for the Serie A side in the last campaign, scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists.
At the Nou Camp, Rafinha has mainly warmed the bench over the years and in such a scenario, he must leave the Catalan giants like his brother Thiago did.
The Samba star can play in multiple midfield positions and also in the attack if needed. His current contract with Barca will expire in 2020 and it has a release clause (FCB) of 75 million euros (£66million).
