Liverpool have made significant progress on the likes of Nabil Fekir and Xherdan Shaqiri as per reports going on in the media.
According to a report covered by The Independent today, the French attacker only wants to sign for Liverpool while the Swiss star is available for just 12 million pounds and Liverpool are primed to seal at least one signing in the next 24 hours.
As far as Fekir is concerned, the British source have mentioned that Liverpool’s chances of signing the Les Bleus playamker before the start of the World Cup have significantly increased.

France have more than a few quality attackers in the team with stars like Mbappe, Griezmann, Dembele and Lemar around. In such a scenario, Fekir’s place in the starting team is not guaranteed and if he does not get enough game time in Russia then his market value would likely fall.
Therefore, as per The Independent, Lyon president Aulas has realized that it is financially better for the Ligue 1 side to reach an agreement with Liverpool before the World Cup.
As far as Shaqiri is concerned, the British outlet have claimed that Liverpool have made progress on a deal for the Stoke City attacker.
Both Shaqiri and Fekir can effectively play in multiple attacking positions and their arrival would seriously increase the quality and depth of Liverpool’s attack.
Shaqiri – 38 games – 8 goals and 7 assists
Fekir – 40 games – 23 goals 8 assists
