With the transfer window reopening on July 1, clubs from the Premier League are likely to extend their activity in terms of recruiting players. However, with arrivals, there will be departures as well as it balances the overall makeup of the squad. Calcio Insider looks at three players, who could potentially switch clubs between now and the transfer deadline.

Theo Walcott (Arsenal): The England international has been continuously linked with a switch from Arsenal in recent seasons, but he eventually manages to stay put at the club. The former Southampton graduate has served over a decade for the FA Cup holders, but he still remains a fringe player, who has not quite reached his full potential. At 28, it could be time to pack his bags from the Emirates, if he is to realise his ambition of playing in his second World Cup, the first since 2006.

Mamadou Sakho (Liverpool): The central defender fell out-of-favour under Jurgen Klopp early in the mix last term following an altercation in pre-season. He therein struggled to make a single competitive appearance for Liverpool before he was loaned out to Crystal Palace at the turn of the year. Sakho managed to retain some of his old form at Selhurst Park while helping them beat the drop. The France international does not seem to have a future under Klopp, and an exit looks a certainty.

Diego Costa (Chelsea): The Spaniard is deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea despite bagging 20 goals in their title triumph. A rift with Antonio Conte in January appeared to have ended his Blues career, but the pair continued to work together in the quest for the Premier League crown. Conte has personally texted Costa to pursue a fresh challenge and the 28-year-old will probably move elsewhere in the quest to maintain his World Cup ambitions.
