Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is getting tired of record signing Paul Pogba, who has been highly inconsistent in the midfield for the Red Devils this season.
In such a scenario, reports suggests that the Portuguese boss wants to sign two midfielders (The Mail) to improve the midfield department at Old Trafford.
The Mail have stated that Mourinho wants to sign Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is rated at 89 million pounds. On the other hand, it is mentioned that the PL giants have made an offer for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred, who is valued at 50 million pounds (€58million).
The British outlet have further stated that Man City have also made an offer for the Brazilian midfielder but that is understood to be less than United’s offer.

The 25-year-old star can effectively play as a defensive midfielder and also as a creative central midfielder. This season, he has so far featured in 32 games in all competitions for the Ukrainian side, scored 4 goals and provided 5 assists.
His disciplinary record should be taken into consideration, which does not really look decent. In 17 league games, he has been booked 8 times and sent off once as well.
Manchester United’s interest in signing Fred is serious. Yesterday, even Mirror Sport reported that Mourinho wants to beat Man City to snap up the Samba star.
In that report, John Cross has mentioned that Fred is certain to move to Manchester in the summer transfer window. More importantly, he has claimed that Pogba might end up leaving the Red Devils.
