Tottenham could only earn a single point against Brighton last night and Liverpool are now firm favorites to finish third in the Premier League ahead of the north Londoners.

The Merseysiders finished fourth last season and have massively improved in the current campaign. Can they end the season with a trophy by winning the Champions League? Only time will tell.

As far as the transfers are concerned, the Reds have been linked with Spanish international and Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos for quite some time and the latest reports seem positive for Jurgen Klopp.

Last month, Diario Gol reported that the 21-year-old midfielder has told his friends that he is making efforts to move to Liverpool.

Now, Don Balon have come up with a report and claimed that the reigning European champions are ready to sell the Spaniard to Anfield.

The Spanish outfit have mentioned that Jurgen Klopp wants Ceballos to replace Emre Can, who will be out of contract in July and will likely leave the club. The good news for the German boss is that Real Madrid have given the green light to transfer their midfielder to Liverpool

As per Don Balon, Perez told Ceballos that he will be an important player at the Bernabeu but the midfielder has mainly warmed the bench this season and therefore, he has been trying to move away from the club for a long time.

So far, the former Real Betis midfielder has only started 2 league games (10 league appearances) for the Los Blancos and scored 2 goals. His current deal with the Spanish giants will expire in 2023 and it has a huge clause of clause of worth €500million (Sport).
