Mourinho ready to push to sign £53million star for Man United

Tottenham left back Danny Rose has been linked with a move away from the club for quite some time. Latest reports are linking him with Manchester United.

The England international is one of the best left backs in the country but he has mainly been on the treatment table in the last two campaigns. This season, Pochettino has rarely used the 27-year-old defender even after he returned to full fitness.

So far, in the current campaign, Rose has only made 7 Premier League appearances for the north Londoners.

According to The Guardian, Man United boss Jose Mourinho is ready to step up the chase to sign the Spurs star.

The British source have mentioned that Kyle Walker left Tottenham to join Manchester City for £53million in the last summer’s transfer window and Rose would command a similar fee if United are to sign him.

At the moment, the Red Devils have stars like Rojo, Shaw, Darmian and Young, who can effectively play in the left back position.

Mourinho has mainly used Young, a natural winger who is going to turn 33, in the LB position and therefore, the Portuguese boss needs to sign a proven quality specialist fullback. Someone like Rose will be a quality signing.

In your opinion, should Mou splash the cash to sign Danny Rose from Tottenham?
