Manchester United have strengthened their defense by signing the likes of Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof in the past two summer transfer windows.
Now, Mourinho needs to sign fullbacks to further reinforce his back line. If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are heavily linked with a move to sign Albanian international Elseid Hysaj.
According to an exclusive report covered by The Sun, Mourinho is ready to agree fee for the Napoli star by activating the 44 million pounds (€50million) release clause in his current contract, which is set to expire in 2021.

As per The Sun link provided above, United’s Italian defender Matteo Darmian is expected to leave the club and move to Juventus this summer, therefore, Mourinho is keen on luring a fullback.
In the past few years, Ecuadorian international Antonio Valencia has played in the right back position for the Red Devils but the South American star is naturally a winger. Moreover, he will turn 33 in a few months and United need a long term replacement.
Hysaj, 24, has played over 100 games in the Serie A with Empoli and Napoli and has got the experience to be a hit at Old Trafford.
In the current campaign, the Albanian right back has so far featured in 34 league games for the Italian club, who have already booked their place in the next season’s UEFA Champions League.
