Man United ready €68.4million move to finally sign star

Manchester United improved the quality of their attack by signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in the winter transfer window.

Now, the Red Devils are once again linked with Brazilian international and Chelsea star Willian.

According to The Mail, Mourinho has been interested in signing the Samba star for quite some time and now, the Old Trafforc club are readying a move worth 60 million pounds (€68.4million) to finally get his signing done.

The British source have mentioned that the Portuguese boss even asked about luring him from the Blues in the winter window but the Stamford Bridge club refused to sell.

Willian was a key member of Mourinho’s Chelsea team that won the Premier League title back in 2015. However, under the management of Italian boss Conte, the former Shakhtar star has mainly warmed the bench.

Last season, the 29-year-old attacker could only start 20 times in the PL, scored 6 goals and provided 8 assists.

Overall, he made 55 appearances but only started 29 times in all competitions for the Blues, scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists.

Willian started Brazil’s World Cup opener against Switzerland in a contest that ended 1-1 on the night. In your opinion, is he good enough to improve Manchester United’s attack?
