Liverpool must promote talented youngsters to the first team and a quality starlet who deserves his chance is English forward Rhian Brewster.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the teenage striker is close to sealing a deal with the five time European Champions.

According to reports (Sky Sports), the 18-year-old center forward is set to sign his first professional contract with the Merseysiders.

On the other hand, yesterday, BBC claimed that Brewster, who was linked with a move away from the Anflied club, has now agreed terms of a five year contract with the Reds.

Last season, the youngster featured 11 times in the Premier League 2 for the Reds and directly contributed in 12 goals (5 goals and 7 assists).

As far as his national career is concerned, he made his debut for the U-18 England side last year. For the U-17s, he netted 20 goals in 23 appearances.

Not to forget, in the U-17 World Cup last year, Brewster scored 8 goals in just 6 appearances (leading goalscorer) to help England lift the trophy.

At the moment, Liverpool do not have any proven quality striker to cover for Roberto Firmino and they must splash the cash to buy one as soon as possible.
