Man Utd ready to agree €8.8million-a-year deal with their “top class” star

Manchester United have already agreed a few key new signings this summer, moreover, they have also secured a new contract with Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are ready to agree a fresh deal with another star player in the form of England international Jesse Lingard.

According to an exclusive report covered by The Sun, Man Utd are ready to give a bumper new deal to the 25-year-old attacker, who has been impressive for the Three Lions at the World Cup.

The British outlet have mentioned that currently, Lingard earns £75,000-a-week and United are ready to agree a fresh deal that will make him earn £150,000-a-week (€170,000-a-week, €8.8million-a-year).

A source close to the Old Trafford club said (The Sun):

“Jesse has shown that he is a top class performer on and off the pitch. He had a fabulous season for the club last year and has taken that form onto the international stage so far.”

“His England showings has been brilliant and the club know he is all set to become a global star if he continues.”

In the last campaign, he made 48 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United and directly contributed in 20 goals (13 goals and 7 assists).
