Manchester United have already secured the signing of a top class midfielder this summer by hiring the services of Brazilian international Fred for a fee worth €60million (The Mail).
According to reports in the media, the Red Devils are interested in signing another €60million rated midfielder.
As per O JOGO (press image provided at the end of the article), Manchester United and Juventus are interested in signing 19-year-old Benfica starlet Gedson Fernandes, who has a mammoth release clause of €60million in his contract (expires in 2023).

The Portuguese outlet have mentioned that Roma are prepared to offer €20million for the teenage sensation but the Primeira Liga club believe that the figure is way too loo and they did not even open any talks with the Giallorossi.
It is further mentioned that The Old Lady and Man United boss Mourinho is interested in the youngster and the suitors would have to come up with a convincing offer to hire his services.
Last season, Fernandes featured in 31 league games for Benfica B and directly contributed in 11 goals (5 goals and 6 assists).
