Manchester United were interested in Ivan Perisic last summer and if reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils could agree deal to finally sign him this summer.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, the Old Trafford club could move to sign the Croatian international and Inter Milan won’t be able to stop the onslaught of the Premier League giants.

As per FC Inter News, the Nerazzurri are not interested in selling their prized asset unless a mammoth offer of €80million arrives.

The versatile attacker was impressive at the 2018 World Cup and helped his team reach the final of the competition. He did score in the final but the Les Bleus were just too good and deservedly won the title.

As far as as his club campaign is concerned, the former Borussia Dortmund attacker was influential for the Serie A side last season and helped them finish in the top four.

In my opinion, Jose Mourinho really does not need to spend a huge fee of €80million on Perisic, who will be turning 30 next year. The former Chelsea boss must hold onto Anthony Martial, who could prove to be a great asset for the club.

However, it will not come as any surprise if he does move to sign the Croatian. United splashed the cash and agreed a huge contract to sign Alexis Sanchez in the winter transfer window knowing that the player will turn 30 later this year in December.

In your opinion, should Mourinho sign Ivan Perisic?
