Liverpool look to secure €70million star capture soon

Liverpool do have a quality squad but they lack depth in a few key areas and Klopp must spend to make his team stronger for the next campaign.

The Reds have been heavily linked with French attacker Nabil Fekir, who has been brilliant for Ligue 1 side Lyon this season.

According to The Guardian, the Reds will step up their pursuit to hire the services of the Les Bleus playmaker after the Champions League final against Real Madrid, which will be held tomorrow in Kiev.

The Guardian have further stated that Fekir is a major summer target for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool look secure €70million rated star before the World Cup.

Born and brought up in Lyon, the 24-year-old star currently captains the club and in the recently concluded league campaign, he scored 18 goals in 38 starts.

Overall, the French attacking midfielder featured in 43 games in all competitions for Lyon and directly contributed in 31 goals (23 goals and 8 assists).

Fekir deservedly earned a place in France’s World Cup squad and we can expect him to line up with the likes of Griezmann and Mbappe in the attack under the management of Deschamps.
