Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in signing Brazilian international and Benfica attacker Talisca, who has played on loan for Besiktas in the last two campaigns.
The latest reports going on in the media are quite interesting and it seems that the Merseysiders are looking to hijack Man Utd’s move for the Samba star by making a sensational offer.
Yesterday, O JOGO reported that the Red Devils are leading the race to sign the 24-year-old attacker. The Portuguese source also mentioned that United have offered €40million to hire Talisca, whose agent is scheduled to travel to meet the leaders of the club.

Today, Fotospor have claimed that Liverpool do not want to pay Benfica’s asking price of €40million, instead, they are prepared to offer two players and €21million in cash in order to lure Talisca.
In such a situation, the Turkish source have mentioned that the Primeira Liga side are eyeing the signing of Liverpool center forward Daniel Sturridge.
When fit, the England international is a top quality striker, however, in the past few years, he has unfortunately been on the treatment table more often than not. In the 2016-17 campaign, he could only start 7 league games for the Reds. Moreover, in the recently concluded PL campaign, once again, he started only 7 times (for Liverpool and West Brom).
Talisca scored 20 goals in all competitions for Besiktas and he could be a quality signing for Jurgen Klopp, who needs to amplify the quality and depth of his attacking department this summer. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming days.
