Serie A holders Juventus are reportedly planning to offer Paulo Dybala as a makeweight in order to re-acquire the signature of midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United. The Argentina international has endured a tough start to the campaign with just one league start for the Bianconeri and he is supposedly said to be evaluating his future ahead of the New Year.
According to The Mirror, the Turin giants are keen to lure Pogba back to the Allianz Stadium and they are prepared to offer Dybala as bait in a proposed move for the Frenchman. At present, the Bianconeri are said to value Dybala at around £100m and they are prepared to offer a further £50m in addition to the Argentine in order to push through player-plus-cash agreement in the future.
The report does not specify as to when the offer could be made but there are indications that Dybala may start considering his future as early as January. The attacker, who has been often compared to Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, enjoyed a strong season with the Bianconeri last term where he contributed 26 goals across all competitions.
However, he has yet to open his goal tally for the ongoing campaign with manager Max Allegri offering him under 100 minutes of league action after the first three league games of the season. As such, there has been regular speculation of him leaving Turin which has been further intensified by Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini, who has claimed that his former player could head to either Spain or England in January.
Meanwhile, Pogba’s future with Manchester United equally hangs in the balance despite him commanding a regular starting role since the start of the season. A recent report from M.E.N has indicated that super-agent Mino Raiola had promised the World Cup winner a move to Spain in three years’ time shortly after making up his mind to return to Old Trafford in 2016.
