Manchester United have been interested in Serbian international and Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for a long time and the latest reports going on in the media are very positive for the Red Devils.
According to an exclusive report covered by The Sun, the Old Trafford club have agreed a sensational 80 million pounds (€91million) deal to sign the 23-year-old midfielder from the Serie A side.
The British source have mentioned that United were reluctant to pay the asking price for the talented star but eventually accepted to pay the above mentioned sum to agree his signing.

As far as United’s midfield department is concerned, Carrick is set to retire, Fellaini has not signed a new contract as yet and Herrera has mainly warmed the bench this season (only 12 PL starts). On the other hand, Matic has performed well but Pogba has been inconsistent.
Therefore, United do need to strengthen their midfield and someone like Milinkovic-Savic will be a fantastic signing. This season, so far, the former Genk midfielder has featured in 46 games for the Italian side and directly contributed in 22 goals.
The 6 ft 2 star is naturally a creative central midfielder but in the current campaign, Lazio have mainly utilized him in the central attacking midfield role. It will be intriguing to see how Mourinho will deploy him at Old Trafford.
It will not come as any surprise to see Milinkovic-Savic line up with compatriot Matic in the center of the park for the Red Devils.
