EPL Player Ratings [Tottenham]: Tottenham Hotspur vs Huddersfield Town

Tottenham Hotspur continued their winning streak away from home as they secured a 4-0 triumph over Premier League newcomers Huddersfield Town. The victory takes Spurs to third on the table, five points behind joint-leaders Manchester City and Manchester United. Harry Kane topped the ratings with a stellar brace against the Terriers while Ben Davies and Moussa Sissoko also found the net.

Here are our Player Ratings for the game…..

Hugo Lloris: The Frenchman had a quiet game between the sticks barring an effort from Laurent Depoitre which hit the woodwork – 6.5/10

Kieran Trippier: Contributed two assists for Harry Kane during the game, and was a constant threat on the right side of the attack – 8/10

Ben Davies: Similarly to Trippier, the Welshman commanded the left wing-back spot and switched play with Dele Alli with ease. Scored the second goal of the game – 8/10

Jan Vertonghen: Another assured performance from the Belgian, who was tasked with keeping out Depoitre for much of the game – 7/10

Toby Alderweireld: Vertonghen’s compatriot Alderweireld could not find much success with long balls, but managed to keep a clean sheet for himself – 7/10

Davinson Sanchez: Spurs’ summer signing Sanchez has adjusted brilliantly in the three-man backline. The Colombian acted as the sweeper in the Spurs defence – 7/10

Eric Dier: Pushed forward during certain stages of the game, nearly scored in the second period, only to be denied by the Terriers defence – 7/10

Harry Winks: Replaced Moussa Sissoko in the lineup and provided a decent performance from the centre of the park. Probably the quietest of the lot but did what was asked of him – 6.5/10

Dele Alli: The attacker was a regular presence in the Spurs’ attack, but could not find a way past the Terriers defence with the final ball – 7.5/10

Christian Eriksen: Similarly to Alli, the Dane was right at it in the front line, but just could not coordinate with Harry Kane, who failed to bag his second successive hat-trick – 7/10

Harry Kane: Words can not express the England international. Kane continued his bright start to the season with his third league brace which takes his scoring tally to six in seven outings – 8.5/10
