Arsenal need to sign quality players for next season and they must also promote talented youngsters, who can gain first team experience and make the team better.
One such talented starlet is Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Last season, the 20-year-old England international played in multiple midfield and defensive positions under the management of former boss Arsene Wenger and impressed big time.
The Gunners officially confirmed that they have sealed a new long term deal with the versatile midfielder, who made his Champions League debut with the club back in December 2014.

In the last campaign, Maitland-Niles made 28 first team appearances in all competitions for the north Londoners and provided one assist.
As far as his international career is concerned, the youngster has so far played 4 games for England’s U-21 team. He was a key member of the U-20 team that lifted the World Cup trophy last year.
Maitland-Niles was delighted after agreeing the new deal and stated (AFC):
“It feels fantastic knowing that I’m going to be a part of the squad, and a big part of the squad. It means a lot with the new head coach coming in and Arsenal tying me down [with a new contract]. I’m very pleased.”
