According to The Mail, Arsenal have sealed the signing of the 19-year-old versatile midfielder for a fee worth 8 million pounds (€9million).

As far as the contract is concerned, few days back, The Mail reported that the club agreed a five year deal with the teenage sensation. The Independent have also reported today that the player has signed a five year contract.

Last season, Guendouzi made 18 appearances for the French club but could not find the net and provided just one assist. Praising the youngster, Unai Emery claimed (AFC):

“We are delighted Matteo is joining us. He is a talented young player and a lot of clubs were interested in him. He has big potential and gained good first-team experience last season with Lorient. He wants to learn and improve and will be an important part of our first-team squad.”
