Liverpool demand duo signing who’ve clauses worth €700m

Real Madrid are constantly linked with a move to sign Egyptian international and Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah, who has so far netted 44 goals in all competitions this season.

The Reds will collide against the Los Blancos in the Champions League final on 26th May and all eyes will be on Salah and Ronaldo.

As per latest reports going on in the Spanish media, the Merseysiders have now demanded two players from the reigning European Champions and a huge amount of cash in exchange for Mohamed Salah.

According to Don Balon, Liverpool want Keylor Navas and Dani Ceballos and also want €100million in cash in order to sell Salah, who is valued at €200million by the Anfield club.

The Spanish source have mentioned that Klopp does not trust Mignolet and Karius, hence, he wants to sign a proven quality goal-keeper this summer. On the other hand, Ceballos is also in the sights of the former Borussia Dortmund boss.

The above mentioned Real Madrid players have huge release clauses (combined worth €700million) in their contracts (Ceballos €500million and Navas €200million) as per Sport.

The Costa Rican goalie has kept 7 clean sheets in 27 league games with one game remaining this season. Mignolet and Karius played 19 games each in the PL and kept 7 and 10 clean sheets respectively. Does Klopp really need Navas?

As far as Liverpool’s midfield is concerned, they already have players like Wijnaldum, Milner, Henderson, Can (out of contract this summer) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (injured at the moment) in the team. Moreover, Grujic’s loan spell with Cardiff will expire later this month and Naby Keita is set to join the club in July.

Therefore, they really do not need to sign someone like Ceballos who has mostly been a bench warmer at the Bernabeu.
