Arsenal seriously want to sign €35million rated 6 ft 2 player

Arsenal were shaky at the back in the entire last campaign and deservedly failed to qualify for the Champions League.

The north Londoners conceded no fewer than 51 gaols in 38 PL games and new boss Unai Emery must sort out the back line if the team are to progress next season.

The Gunners have already secured the signing of Swiss fullback Lichtsteiner from Juve on a free transfer and now reports suggest they want to further strengthen the back line

According to Bild, Emery is looking to lure German international and Leipzig defender Lukas Klostermann for Arsenal.

The German source have mentioned that the 22-year-old starlet, who is naturally a right back, can play anywhere in the back line. Last season, the 6 ft 2 Kaiser featured in 39 games in all competitions for Leipzig and scored 1 goal.

As per sources close to the player’s representatives EMG Mundial, Arsenal seriously want to sign the defender, who has got a contract with Leipzig until 2021, but his price tag of €35million could be an issue.

Arsenal have the likes of Bellerin and Lischtsteiner for the RB role and the likes of Monreal and Kolasinac for the LB role. So, the Gunners do not need to sign another fullback. Klostermann can play in the central defense but to reinforce that area, Emery must sign a proven quality specialist center half or else the defensive issues will not be resolved.
