Arsenal in talks to agree deal with €56.9million star

Arsenal have already secured agreements for top quality players like Lichtsteiner and Leno. Emery needs to further strengthen his squad and more importantly, he must also hold on to the key players already present in the team.

According to a report covered by John Cross for Mirror Sport, Emery wants to keep five stars at the Emirates no matter what happens and one of them is Spanish international Hector Bellerin.

Out focus is on Welsh international Aaron Ramsey. About the former Cardiff midfielder, John Cross has stated that the talks are ongoing and Emery wants the club to agree a new deal with him.

The 27-year-old star had an injury hit campaign last term but when fit, he was arguably Arsenal’s best player.

Ramsey started 28 games in all competitions for the north Londoners and directly contributed in no fewer than 23 goals (11 goals and 12 assists).

Capable of playing in multiple midfield and attacking positions, Emery must do everything to agree a new long term contract with him. His current deal with the Gunners will expire next year and if he does not sign an extension then the club must look to sell him this summer.

Last month, London Evening Standard reported that Arsenal believe they can get a fee worth 50 million pounds (€56.9million) for a star of his caliber.
