Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah from Roma last summer and the Egyptian international has been sensational for the Reds.

He has already scored 43 goals in all competitions, 31 in the league and could even end up winning the Ballon D’Or if he can help the club win the Champions League.

As per reports going on in the media, the Merseysiders have been linked with another player from Roma in the form of Brazlian goalie Alisson.

The British giants have lacked a quality and consistent shot stopper in the goal since the departure of Spanish international Pepe Reina, who won the PL Golden Glove award in his first three seasons at Anfield.

According to Mirror Sport, the Merseysiders are looking to strengthen their goalkeeping department and multiple names are in the focus. The British media outfit claim that Liverpool are monitoring Southampton goalie Alex McCarthy and they are also looking at the option to re-sign Reina from Napoli.

The Mirror have further mentioned that Roma star Alisson is Klopp’s first choice to solve the ongoing dilemma at Liverpool but he is likely going to cost a lot after the Giallorossi let Salah leave for cheap.

Italian source La Gazzetta Dello Sport recently reported that the Samba star is valued at €70million by the Serie A club. In the current campaign, the former Internacional player has so far kept 21 clean sheets in 48 games for the club.

Not to forget, Liverpool smashed 7 goals past Alisson in the two legs of the Champions League semi final.
