World Cup – Brazil’s confirmed starting XI vs Mexico

The lineups are out and Tite has selected a very strong Brazil starting XI to face Mexico in today’s first Round of 16 World Cup contest.

The Selecao boss has only made one change in the starting team that featured vs Serbia in the last group game. Captain Marcelo is not fit to start and in his place former Chelsea defender, Filipe Luis, gets the nod to play in the left back position.

The likes of Miranda and Silva start in the central defense. In the right back position, Fagner once again gets the nod to start ahead of Danilo. Roma star Alisson retains his starting place in the goal in front of the back line.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro and Barcelona duo Paulinho and Coutinho start in the midfield for the Samba stars.

In the attacking third, Jesus once again starts ahead of Liverpool star Firmino and the likes of Neymar and Chelsea attacker Willian will partner the Man City striker in the attack.
