The Spanish source have mentioned that Arsenal moved in with an offer of €30m to capture the signing of Pavon but the Argentine club, who are doing good financially, opted not to sell. It is further mentioned that after the World Cup, more offers will surely arrive for the 22-year-old star.

Argentina were knocked out of the World Cup by France yesterday. Pavon, who can effectively play as a winger and also as a forward, featured in all four games under Sampoli but failed to score a goal or provide an assist in the competition.

For Boca Juniors, Pavon played 32 games in the last campaign and directly contributed in no fewer than 26 goals (7 goals and 19 assist).
