Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-2-1) vs Bournemouth, Mesut Ozil and Granit Xhaka start

Arsenal will seek to return to winning ways in the English top-flight when they travel to the south Coast to take on Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon. The north London giants made a big meal of their previous outing at the Vitality Stadium as they had to come from three goals down to clinch 3-3 draw in the final 20 minutes of the game. The likes of Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are likely to be deemed fit for the league outing, and Arsene Wenger will want a strong performance from his side to keep up in the Champions League hunt.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Lineup:

Petr Cech has featured in every league outing for the Gunners this term, and he is a certainty to start in goal. Likewise, the defence may not see any chances from the midweek League Cup outing, and Calum Chambers, Shkodran Mustafi and Rob Holding are very much certain to start in central defence. Hector Bellerin has found form in the right-back position in recent weeks, and he may be partnered by Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the opposite direction with Sead Kolasinac unlikely to be risked, unless fully fit.

In central midfield, Jack Wilshere is certain to miss out with an ankle sprain, and this could offer a chance to Mohamed Elneny, who is likely to partner Granit Xhaka in central midfield. Ramsey is fit to make the matchday squad but Wenger has the tendency to start recently-turned players from the bench.

Further forward, there could be starts for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the attacking midfield positions behind the main striker. Ozil has been termed 50/50 to make the outing, but the German will hope that he can feature at the south Coast despite complaints of a swollen knee.

Alexandre Lacazette has gone seven Premier League matches without a goal since netting versus Manchester United. The Frenchman has got his fair share of chances in this period, but he has either rushed or waited long enough for the opposition to close down his goalscoring opportunities. He is certain to lead the line.
