Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Manchester United star Anthony Martial (The Mail) for quite some time and if the latest update is anything to go by then Pochettino is clear to sign the French international from the Old Trafford club.
The Les Bleus player failed to impress Jose Mourinho and was often found warming the bench in the last campaign. In such a scenario, he even failed to earn a place in France’s World Cup team.
It is clear that Martial is no longer a guaranteed starter under the former Chelsea boss. Not to forget, Mourinho opted to sign Alexis Sanchez in the winter transfer window to replace the former Ligue 1 starlet in the starting XI.

Now, the 22-year-old star’s agent has confirmed that his client has decided to leave the Old Trafford club this summer, leaving the path clear for the suitors to agree his signing (RMC Sport).
Martial mainly played as a center forward for Monaco before moving to Man United, who utilized him in multiple attacking positions and mostly on the left wing.
Tottenham need to improve the quality and depth of their attacking department and a versatile player like Martial could be a top signing for Mauricio Pochettino.
Last season, he could only start 18 times in the league, scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists. As per reports, Juventus also made contact for Martial, for whom the British giants at least want €50million (Calcio Mercato).
