Mourinho convinced he can sign €100million star for Man United

Manchester United defeated rivals Arsenal at the weekend to strengthen their second place in the Barclays Premier League.

The Red Devils can still finish the season with a trophy if they beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final. Other than that, manager Jose Mourinho must already start thinking about reinforcing the team for the next campaign.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Old Trafford club are once again linked with French international and Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.

Don Balon have claimed that Man United’s record signing Paul Pogba is getting closer and closer to leaving the club. It is mentioned that Mourinho is not satisfied with the performances of the French international and appreciates the possibility of using him in an operation to sign Griezmann from the Rojiblancos.

The 27-year-old star is one of the best playmakers in the world, who has the quality to largely improve Manchester United’s attack.

This season, the former Real Sociedad attacker has so far featured in 45 games for Atletico, scored 27 goals and also provided 13 assists.

The Spanish source have stated that more than a few clubs are interested in signing Griezmann and in such a situation, Mourinho wants to get ahead of the competitors by offering Pogba to Atletico Madrid. It is further mentioned that United will go with everything to hire the services of Griezmann, who has a release clause of €100million, and the former Chelsea boss is convinced that he can sign him.
