Manchester United lured Ivorian center half Bailly from Villareal in 2016 and last year, the Red Devils captured the signing of Swedish defender Lindelof from Benfica.
As per reports, the Old Trafford club want to further strengthen their central defense by bringing in a quality player and numerous top stars are on their radar.
According to Manchester Evening News, German international and Bayern Munich star Jerome Boateng is one of the central defenders on United’s wish list.

As per the latest update provided by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Mourinho and other suitors are clear to sign the World Cup winning defender if they can come up with an important proposal.
The Bayern Munich CEO told Bild that the 29-year-old defender could leave the Bundesliga champions this summer and he may negotiate with other clubs. Rummenigge further said that if a club wants to sign him then they must come up with a high bid.
Bild have further stated that so far, no concrete offer has been made for Boateng and the German giants would look for a high double-digit million fee to let him leave. Therefore, United would have to make a big offer to get his signing done.
