Manchester United have been linked with several quality central defenders this summer and Harry Maguire’s name is now in the lime light.
According to The Mail, the Red Devils are ready to move in with a huge offer to hire the services of the England international and Leicester City star, who is valued at 50 million pounds (€57million).
The British outlet have mentioned that Mourinho is keen on signing the 25-year-old defender and the Foxes are ready to offer him a fresh contract worth 75,000 pounds a week.

Maguire featured in 38 league games for Leicester in the last campaign, scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists. He has been impressive for the Three Lions at the World Cup and scored his debut goal in the quarter final against Sweden. England will collide against Belgium in the third place play-off today.
As far as Manchester United’s central defense is concerned, the Portuguese boss has got more than a few options with stars like Rojo, Jones, Smalling, Blind, Bailly and Lindelof around.
In such a situation, the former Chelsea manager must sell a center half or two first before signing a new one in the summer transfer window.
If Maguire does end up moving to the Old Trafford club, he could replace Jones or Smalling in Man United’s starting XI, as he has done with England under Gareth Southgate. We can expect him to partner Ivorian international Bailly in the central defense.
