Man United have agreed contract with €40m star – Must act fast to secure him

Jose Mourinho has been looking to bring Alex Sandro to Manchester United for quite some time but the Old Trafford club are not the only side wanting to sign him.

According to The Times, the Brazilian international has agreed a contract with the Old Trafford club, who are looking to strengthen their back line.

However, according to TuttoSport (via Sport Media Set, Goal Italia and Talksport), even PSG have agreed terms with the South American player. Therefore, United must act fast and agree a fee with Juve if they are to win the race to sign him.

The Red Devils have already lured a top quality Brazilian player by hiring the services of Fred this summer from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Current situation at Old Trafford:

Mourinho has got players like Shaw, Rojo, Darmian and Young, who can effectively play in the left back position. Moreover, the Portuguese boss has already lured a young fullback in the form of Dalot, who can play on either side of the defense.

Last season, Young, who turned 33 this month, was the first choice left back for United. The veteran player was effective at the World Cup as well but he is past his best and therefore, a long term replacement must be lured. Sandro perfectly fits the bill.

The €40m star (TuttoSport) can play anywhere on the left hand side of the field. He is one of the best fullbacks in Italy, who is brilliant in both the defensive and the attacking roles. Last season, he was directly involved in no fewer than 10 goals for the Serie A giants.
