Liverpool were heavily interested in signing Nabil Fekir from Lyon but the French club recently ended the negotiations with the Merseysiders and confirmed that the Les Bleus attacker will be staying.
The Reds still have not replaced Coutinho and Fekir had the quality to replace the Brazilian at Anfield. Now that the 24-year-old star is staying with Lyon, Klopp must act swiftly to sign a quality alternative.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then Liverpool could move to sign Brazilian international and Flamengo attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta.

According to Premium Sport journalist Andersinho Marques, Liverpool have come forward for the 20-year-old starlet.
So far, in 15 appearances (all competitions), the South American player has scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists in the current campaign.
Few days back, UOL Esporte reported that the player’s representative traveled to London to listen to offers from big European clubs. The Brazilian source mentioned that the youngster has got a release clause of €50million in his contract.
Paqueta, who can effectively be deployed in the central/attacking midfield, is highly rated in Brazil but is he good enough to excel in the Premier League? Only time will tell.
