From Spain: Liverpool have made an offer to sign £88million star

Liverpool have been linked with Colombian international and Barcelona star Yerry Mina lately and the latest report covered by a Spanish source is interesting.

According to El Pais, Liverpool have made an offer to sign the 23-year-old center half, who could depart the club this summer as Barca hopes to please Valverde in his desire to select his team.

The Spanish outlet have mentioned that the likes of Everton, Fenerbahce and Dortmund have moved in for the defender as well and Barcelona will sell him to the highest bidder.

Mina was brilliant for the national side at the World Cup 2018. He was the top scorer for the team and netted 3 goals in 3 appearances.

However, the dilemma for him at the Nou Camp is that he is a bench warmer. Valverde prefers to start the likes of Samuel Umtiti and Gerard Pique in his central defense. In such a scenario, Mina, who joined the Catalan giants in the winter transfer window this year, could only start 4 league games.

The South American defender needs to move away from the Spanish champions to start week in week out. He moved to Spain for just 11.8 million euros but his release clause is worth (FCB) 100 million euros (£88million).
