Liverpool are looking to improve their attacking department since the day Philippe Coutinho left the club to join Barcelona. The dilemma is that the Merseysiders still have not replaced the Brazilian international.

Numerous top quality playmakers have been linked with the Anfield club and the latest name in the lime light is that of Korean international and Tottenham star Heung-min Son.

According to a report covered by German source Sport1, Liverpool are one of the clubs looking to sign the 25-year-old star from the north Londoners.

In the last campaign, the Asian playmaker featured in 53 games in all competitions under Pochettino and directly contributed in 29 goals (18 goals and 11 assists).

As far as his national career is concerned, Son has so far scored 23 goals in 66 outings for South Korea. In 3 World Cup 2018 appearances, he scored 2 goals, the last one was netted yesterday to knock reigning Champions Germany out of the competition.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star is a versatile talent, who can play anywhere in the attacking midfield and even as a center forward. Such versatility could be fruitful for Jurgen Klopp, who seriously lacks depth in his attacking department.

As per the provided Sport1 link, the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in signing Son, who is valued at €70million.
