£87million star wants to sign for Manchester United

Manchester United have been linked with Welsh international and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale for a long time now and the recent reports going on in the media are very interesting.

The former Tottenham Hotspur superstar has already won three Champions League titles with the Los Blancos but in the past two years, he has mostly been on the treatment table.

This season, the 28-year-old attacker has so far started just 16 league games and scored 11 goals.

According to Don Balon, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to sell Bale to Liverpool in order to sign star playmaker Mohamed Salah from the Merseysiders.

The Egyptian international recently won the PL Player of the Month award for the fourth time in the current campaign. He is currently leading the PL Golden Boot race with 29 league goals.

Don Balon have claimed that the Real Madrid playmaker does not want to join Liverpool. The Merseysiders have excelled big time in the Champions League this season but Bale does not consider them one of the biggest clubs in the continent.

Furthermore, the Spanish source have claimed that the attacker’s priority is to sign for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. Not to forget, United splashed the cash to sign Chilean playmaker Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in the winter transfer window .

Last month, Sport reported that Real value Bale at 100 million euros (£87million). As far as Salah is concerned, Don Balon state that Liverpool are demanding a fee worth 200 million euros for their prized asset.
