4-3-3: Liverpool’s strongest possible starting XI vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid have the opportunity to win their third Champions League title in a row when they face Liverpool in the final on Saturday.

The Merseysiders have won the European Cup five times and they last lifted the trophy 13 years ago in Istanbul under the captaincy of Steven Gerrard.

As far as Jurgen Klopp’s team news is concerned, James Milner and Emre Can have returned to training (The Independent) after recovering from their respective injuries. The former Bayer Leverkusen midfileder has not played for the Reds since 17th March so, it is unlikely that he will make it into the starting lineup vs the Los Blancos.

We can expect the likes of Wijnaldum and captain Henderson to partner Milner in the center of the park for Liverpool.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson should start in the fullback positions. Joel Matip is still out injured and in his absence, Lovren should start with Van Dijk in the central defense in front of German shot stopper Karius.
