Arsenal close to securing €45million deals to seal signing

Arsenal have already signed experienced stars like Papastathopoulos, Leno and Lichtsteiner this summer. As per reports, they are close to completing their fourth key signing by hiring the services of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria.

The Uruguayan international has been linked with the Gunners for quite some time but now he is expected to complete the move soon after the South Americans were ousted from the quarter finals of the World Cup.

As per the latest reports going on in the media, Arsenal are close to securing deals worth €45million to seal the signing of the former Pescara player.

According to renowned Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old defensive midfielder will seal his move to the Emirates, he is waiting to complete his medical in the coming days and then he will sign the contract with the north Londoners.

On the other hand, La Gazzetta Dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira tweeted that Torreira will have his medical soon, the fee worth €30million with Sampdoria has been agreed and the play breaker will sign a five year contract worth €15million.

Torreira played 36 games in the Serie A last season and scored 4 goals. Moreover, the versatile midfielder made 5 appearances at the World Cup under Oscar Tabarez and started the last three contests against Russia, Portugal and France respectively.

    i still want the eva banega deal to go through as santi cazorla’s replacement…
